Our love for nature and our concern for our future led us to this initiative.
With your support we can give new life to our forests.
From the smallest to the largest donation, its importance is immense
and brings us one step closer to our goal.
In partnership with we4all, a non-profit environmental organization
created in the aftermath of the Mati fire, we are finding the
the most readily available forest or urban area for tree planting
and select the plants or seedlings that can be planted
at each site. We set the date of the action…

The cost of the trees is 7 euros each. The cost also covers the watering of the tree for the next 3 years.
We set small financial targets every time and as soon as we reach them, we will start the process of buying and planting trees.
The short answer is no. Planting trees without a permit is illegal in Greece, so tree planting will be allowed to take place in the places where the permit is available.
However, the actions will be carried out gradually throughout Greece.
Of course! If you want to help you can fill in the volunteer form and find out about the next actions you can participate in!
- The first step is to have a tree planting permit for a site.
- We determine the type of tree to be planted.
- We buy the certified seeds or seedlings.
- Αnd finally we set the date of the tree planting to be done either by the municipality or by volunteers.
On this page and on all our social media, we will provide detailed information about each action and each tree planted.
After the first action (which will take place in January), there will be updates with photos and videos, as well as an interactive map that will be updated with all the trees that have been planted!

About us
We are people who always have in mind how to help.
During the great fires in Attica and Evia in 2021, with the great destruction and countless homes lost, we created the website filoksenies.gr , which is a free accommodation platform, so that those who can and those in need can be accommodated in a simple way.
It's useful for the moment when one needs it, but what happens next?
After watching a global campaign that managed to plant over 20 million trees around the world (unfortunately none in Greece), we thought “why not here?”. Every summer now we suffer with big fires and the result is always huge burnt areas and countless victims (animals and people).
So, we decided to organise an effort to give life to our forests.
We contacted we4all and people who believe in collective effort, so we can get the message out and plant 100,000 trees all over Greece.
There is no financial benefit from this action and every similar action we do.
We do it for our lives, our health and our future.
